Welcome to my research homepage! I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Theoretical Quantum Information Science Dept. at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, in Knoxville TN USA.
Currently, I am applying myself to develop various aspects of topological quantum computation devices. I also study the effects of topological aspects of phonon physics on bulk material properties, like thermal conductivity.
During my Ph.D., my main interests focused on the application of symmetry breaking, topological ordering field theory and quaternion division algebra in understanding the structure and transport properties of solid states beyond perfect crystals. Also, generalizations of topological-order and quantum Hall effects beyond 2D systems of particles with complex U(1) symmetry have intrigued me (let’s go into 4D, always!).
