In line with my research, after a foreclosed home is bought at an auction, it is common for the borrower to still have the remaining unpaid debt on the loan. There are many lenders who seek to have all costs and liens repaid by the upcoming buyer. Even so, depending on specific programs, legislation, and state regulations there may be some loans that are not easily resolved through the shift of personal loans.
